Surftrip Baie d’Audierne

Surftrip in Bretagne at the baie d’Audierne
Located in Plouhinec in the centre of the Baie d’Audierne, Surf House Bretagne is a perfect place for a surftrip in Bretagne. Within a region of 20km drive we have over 30 surf spots to choose from.

You might surf the more famous surfspots like Baie des Trespasses, Gwendrez, Penhors or even La Torche. But we will for sure show you quiet  surfspots which are less known but with empty line ups and even as good to surf.

Depending of the swell, wind, tide and your level of surfing we can tell you where and when to go surfing during your surftrip in Bretagne.

Surf House Bretagne next to Audierne
The surfhouse is located in Plouhinec, a small Breton village in the baie d’Audierne which offers several surfspots to choose from. The surfhouse is only a 5 minutes walk away from the cosy harbor village Audierne where you will find serveral shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.

The surfhouse and the rooms
The surfhouse has 4 rooms in total with a maximum space for 9 persons. All our rooms have single beds which we can put together for lovers or seperate for friends.

There is 1 x double room with private toilet/shower/sink, perfect room for couples. The triple room with private bathroom is very suitable for small group of friends of for example single parents with 2 kids. The 2 x double rooms on the second floor each have a sink in the room and share the toilet/shower in the hall. Those two rooms together are often used for small groups and families or for single travelers (you won’t have to share a room in our surfhouse).

Surf House Bretagne offers you a commun kitchen to prepare your lunch and dinners. Together with the open living room connected to the kitchen and the terrace with the large garden, the ground floor is a real meeting place after surf to talk about the surfsession of the day.

You will feel home away from home like many of our guests did before you!

Surfguide Bretagne
Alex will be your surfguide during your stay at Surf House Bretagne. At breakfast, with fresh French bread and as much coffee as you need, Alex will check the surf forecast and explain you where and at what time you need to be to catch the best waves of the day. With our surfguiding you won’t loose any holiday time by driving from spot to spot to check the waves. Often Alex will try to join you for a surf session but you will also go on your own or with the group.

We prefer to find empty line ups where we can surf quietly so you can catch the most waves possible to improve your surfing.

Adults surftrip in Bretagne
All of our guests will come to surf. Some need to learn it, others are surfing for many years already. But you will all have something in commun during your stay at our surfhouse, and that’s surfing. Out of school holidays most of our guests are between 25 and 45 years old. We’re not a party surfhouse, but ofcourse there is always time for a drink after surf.

Family surf holidays in Bretagne
During (summer) school holidays we often have families in our surfhouse. As soon as kids can swim and feel confident in the ocean they can learn to surf. As a parent surfing is a fun and active way to spend the holidays with your kids. And because there are other guests in the surfhouse, you will have adults for a chat and a drink in the evening, and the kids will find eachother to play during your stay at the surfhouse. For beginners we work together with the local surfschool for surflessons.
